Resurrection Day
Resurrection day, a great day at which The Messiah (Jesus Christ) was transformed from mortal to immortal, from corruptible beings to incorruptible beings, from flesh to spirit. This great day symbolises a very significant day in the lifetime of Jesus Christ and the Christian, resurrection is very essential which must be fulfilled in the perfection of His mandates.
The synoptic account of Matthew made it known that on this day “there was a great earthquake” which symbolises that an extraordinary and mysterious event happened that specific day.
Though Jesus Christ has made this prophecy several times when He was still performing his ministerial work before his death. In Mark 10:34 “And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him and the third day he shall rise again” . Luke 17:25, Matt 16:21 also establish this.
Jesus Christ has more certainty about his death and resurrection which made him endure and persevere even in times of persecution, darkness, suffering, and predicament because he was working towards that Special Day (Resurrection Day) where he receives his crown of fulfilling his mandate of reconciliation between man and God and salvation of life to man.
