HISTORY OF INTER CHURCH REVIVAL MISSION
It is a burden from the leading I received through the messages of the call of God on 22nd October, 1987. The message was “Go and deliver the Israelite’s from the hand of the Edomites that they might serve me with Righteousness and Holiness”.
This was followed with a given scriptural passage that serves as the basis of my calling. The scriptural passage was Isaiah 58:1,12. Verse 1 spoke about me, while verse 12 spoke about my people. Following this burden was the establishment of it by a vision which I saw.
I was giving to see myself operating a train on a rail line but on the way, I saw a very long train stranded with many coaches that I couldn’t see the end bit the train cannot move again; a line suddenly came and I drove the train till i got to the head of the stranded train the the line was restored to the old one and was join to the one I was driving and i move it with the old one. With the help of Rev. Adewale
I was able to get the interpretation that God has placed a ministry in my hand that a time will come that churches will begin to join with me to move on the narrow way.
Further instructions from God also came to me vividly that “He is not sending me to establish a denomination but He is sending me as an Apostle of Revival of Righteousness in the end time for the church of Christ. I must not discriminate and I should be a man of large heart that I may be able to father many believers on the Narrow Way”. It sounded like God’s covenant with Abraham as the father of many nations.
This prompted me into a year of fasting and prayer, asking to do universal heart that will help me as an Apostle to embrace all believers, not minding their denominations.
While I continue in the pursuit of my calling, God showed me a plain rock that has a stream at its end with many people coming from different places for revival and deliverance, then the Lord told me in the vision that it is a lace of base given to me for the great revival and deliverance.
This vision was confirmed again at Ori-Oke Ede in Osun State by the mouth of a prophet that I met in the year 2001, although, I have been worried about the vision I had had. By 2002, I had another revelation about a plain rock with an inscription “WELCOME TO THE CITY OF REFUGE”. Several efforts were made towards the fulfillment as people began to come around to ensure that this becomes a reality.
To the glory of God, in January 2003, I discovered that rock and on the 18th May, a payment was made for the first plot of land; and today we bless God for Hus faithfulness that the land has developed to almost a hectare of land.
This led to the establishment of a praying mountain which was dedicated to the glory of God on the 18th August 2003 by some Men of God; out of which were Prophet Adeniyi Rotimi, General Overseer of POMAC, Rev. Peter Okopale, Pastor Adesokan, Pastor Oni and Rev. A.K. Popoola, to mention a few.
