FRUITFULNESS IS A MANDATE

In the original plan and purpose of God, every creature under the heavens was given the sole mandate of FRUITFULNESS and MULTIPLICATION. From the book of Genesis Chapter 1 verse 28, the mandate has been given and God expects this to be carried out in every area of our life.

This is to show that any man not experiencing Fruitfulness is every area is falling short of the original plan of God.

To be fruitful is to multiply, increase, or add to what’s already there, producing more of something.

A man is not expected to be born alone and also die without making an impact, this means that the fellow didn’t have any impact on the earth. Fruitfulness is not only by marriage but by adding positively to other lives to the extent they can point to you as their source of new life or a new beginning.

WHAT IS FRUITFULNESS IN ITS TRUE SENSE?

  1. Fruitfulness is a state of being extremely productive
  2. Fruitfulness means abounding in fruits
  3. Fruitfulness means multiplying or increasing what had already been.
  4. Fruitfulness is also the quality or state of causing or assisting prolific growth.
  5. Fruitfulness is used by Scripture as a symbol of spiritual maturity and well-being.
  6. Fruitfulness according to the scripture is a state of being able to receive the good news and spread the good news and make sure others multiply the good news. And the good news is JESUS.
  7. Fruitfulness is a quality of a man being able to represent Jesus to the world and increase the numbers of the followers of Jesus.

WHY FRUITFULNESS IS MANDATORY

  1. When you are fruitful in your body, the legacy of the blessing of God for the next generation is guaranteed.
  2. This is what will guarantee the continuity of your family, business, or ministry even beyond your lifetime. See the story of the Rechabites in 35.
  3. Fruitfulness guarantees the protection of the next generation from corruption and destruction if they were taught to walk in the ways of God.
  4. Fruitfulness is the only means through which the gospel can spread.
  5. Due to a man’s inability to be fruitful, many will suffer. This is because a lot of lives are attached to your fruitfulness.
  6. God commanded it
  7. Every creature was designed to be fruitful
  8. God is glorified by our Fruitfulness. Jesus said, “My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples.” We are to bear much fruit; it’s what truly glorifies God and ultimately proves that we are Christ’s disciples.

MEANS OF FRUITFULNESS

  1. Passing the right legacy to other generations
  2. Evangelism
  3. Soul-winning
  4. Interceding
  5. Living a life of the bible.
  6. Child Bearing with Godly Training
  7. Having a right successor with the same mandate, goal, and vision

HOW TO BE FRUITFUL

  1. Allow God to work on you. John. 15:1-2
  2. Doing away with a lifestyle that against fruitfulness. Heb. 12:1
  3. Abide in Christ. John. 15:4-5
  4. Live the life of a good legacy
  5. Preach the Gospel
  6. Pray for souls
  7. Train others

In conclusion, Fruitfulness is a mandate.
